Everyone has brain. It is the central of the all nerves system in our body. The brain regulates anything by giving command to the nerves system. Brain is formed from protein and also millions nerves system. On the brain there are also million tiny blood vessels that supply oxygen and also nutrition. Brain, although it is the most important part our body is not free from disease. There are many diseases that infect brain such as cancer. Brain cancer is the deadliest killer. It is not rare to see a near-miss and a cell phone talker being at the helm of one of the vehicles. A rule of thumb is to always lookout for drivers on their phones. Make sure the horn works on the vehicle being driven because it may be needed at moment’s notice. Accidents are common among people who talk on their phones and drive at the same time, but is this the only threat cell phone use pose on human health? No! Not according to a National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) study.

Doctor’s ask me what is going on with my family’s health. I answer “I don’t know – I’m in perfect health- no disease’s – nothing”. The only thing I did different was a Preventative Health plan I started with Poly-MVA. I started taking Poly-MVA because it was helping my brothers with their cancer which 2 out of the 3 are in remission and my other brother with the pancreatic cancer is surprising his doctors with how good he’s doing. I was always pro-active when it came to my health from eating right to exercise and nutritional supplements. Then the body increases the viscosity or thickness of the blood and lymph so they can handle more waste products. There can be additional mucous generated, and an increased amount of flow of bodily fluids. At this point, you don’t want to take medicine to dry things up! In fact, you want to go in the opposite direction when the case is as urgent as Sarah’s. Fortunately, her family was so committed to pursuing a natural cure for her brain cancer cure that this was not an issue.

Radiation treatment is used in conjunction with surgery or alone when the brain cancer cannot be surgically removed. Survival using radiation increased ten fold for patients with malignant tumors and tends to pro long life in patients with any low-grade gliomas. External-beam radiation is the most common form of radiation treatment used in the treatment of brain cancer delivering radiation from the outside of the body. When we are talking on the phone, the radiation coming from the device is actually absorbed by the brain. This makes the permeability of the blood brain barrier higher. Besides, the synthesis of stress proteins also soars. There was a number of different studies conducted that proved that there is definitely a very clear link between the usage of mobile phones and the increase of people suffering from brain tumors. Even though no exact conclusions can be drawn, the fact that cell phones increase the risk of having cancer is very obvious.

Breast lumps are swelling or localized thickening in the breast of the woman. It is a growth of a tissue in the breast and is also known as a swelling, growth, thickness or mass. This is a common condition and most of the lumps are non cancerous or benign. These benign breast lumps are of many types, the most common type being cysts and fibroadenomas. Cysts are sacs of fluids that build up in the breast tissue and fibroadenomas are solid growths made up of glandular and fibrous tissues.

Causes – The causes of breast lumps in women which are benign maybe any of the following

1. Cysts: This is one of the most common causes of breast lumps in women before menopause. Cysts can cause several lumps to appear suddenly.

2. Fibroadenoma: This is another common cause of the lumps especially in women who are young.

3. Periductal mastitis: This condition is of infection and inflammation around the area of the nipple. This may be common in women who smoke.

4. Inflammation: Some kinds of infections can cause inflammation or abscess.

5. Hamartoma: This is growth in excessive manner in a tiny region of the breast tissue.

6. Fat necrosis: Injury to the breast may cause lumps to be formed in the area of fatty breast tissue. This is also the cause of breast lumps in women.

7. Papilloma: It is a condition of growth like a wart inside the duct behind the nipple.

8. Lipoma: Lipoma is a fatty lump.

9. Fibrocystic Disease: The overgrowth of fibrous tissue results in thickening of the breast tissue causing lumps.

10. Phyllodes tumors: These tumors may be cancerous or benign.

During pregnancy one can experience tenderness and soreness in the breasts which is a result of increased levels of progesterone and the growth of the milk ducts. One may develop cysts or fibroadenomas during pregnancy.

Symptoms – The symptoms of bust lumps in women can be thickening of the breast, lumpiness in breast, a change in the appearance of the nipple, a change in the shape or size of the breasts, a change in the feel of the breasts, discharge from the nipple and a swelling in the armpit.

Types – There are three types of non cancerous or benign breast lumps and one kind of malignant breast lump. The three types of benign lumps are Cysts, Pseudolumps and Fibroadenomas. The malignant type is Breast Cancer.

The diagnosis of a breast lump may require tests like mammogram, ultrasound, biopsy, MRI scan or a needle aspiration. The treatment of benign breast lumps in women may be required if the symptoms ar epresnt.

Treatment – Small fibroadenoman and lipomas may not require serious attention if there are no symptoms but other types of benign breast lumps may require treatments. Large fibroadenomas, lipomas and hamartomas need to be removed before they get larger. Phyllodes and papillomas also need to be removed. Cysts can be drained with a needle. A firm solid lump will require biopsy to be taken to determine the treatment to be used. Other infections or abscess can be treated with antibiotics or drained if there is pus present.

Breast cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases for women and is in fact the leading cause of cancer deaths among women. The figure of those who have died from breast cancer has reached half a million for 2008 alone. What is even more dreadful about breast cancer is that the disease usually indicates the presence of other serious ailments that further compound the situation. The Common Causes of Breast Cancer Because of the enormity of the problem that a woman affected with breast cancer faces, it is very important to learn the risk factors and the causes of the cancer to ensure correct treatment for the disease. In understanding breast cancer, the following causes are the most common: * Family History. The possibility of a woman contracting breast cancer is magnified if there is a prior family history with a mother, sister, and other close relatives. As such, when a previous family member contracted the disease, it may be wise for one to be on the watch out for the symptoms of the disease. In instances where the ancestor contracted the disease before reaching the age of 40, the possibility of other women in the family contracting the disease is even greater because it indicates that the origin of the disease is genetic in nature.    * Personal History. Here, it means that if a woman contracted the disease in one breast, there is the strong possibility that the disease will affect the other breast. The time it will take for the disease to spread to the other disease may take a long time, depending on the medication and intervention made, but it is nonetheless wise to remain alert for signs of the disease spreading to the other breast as well.    * Race. Although this may be questionable in some circles, statistics reveal that women of Caucasian origin are more likely to contract the disease than women from other regions.    * High Processed Meat Products Consumption. This is due to the presence of sodium and nitrates in processed meat products that may irritate body cells and cause changes in the DNA. The mentioned factors normally lead to breast cancer. Grilling these processed meat products generates carcinogens that can increase the possibility of contracting breast cancer.    * Products Containing Aluminum Salts. Believe it or not, deodorants and antiperspirants are linked to breast cancer. This is due to findings of aluminum deposits on the outer tissues of patients affected by the cancer. Because aluminum is not naturally present in the body, its presence could only come from deodorants and antiperspirants. It is thought that the aluminum in these products is absorbed by the body. Experts suggest to use alternatives and products that do not contain aluminum salts.    * Absence or Lack of Physical Activity. This is because lack of physical activity contributes to obesity and weight gain, both of which contribute to acquiring breast cancer resulting from living a sedentary lifestyle.

Prostate Cancer is one word that causes dread in the mind of the patient and his or her loved ones. However, with the advances made by science, it is now possible to beat back the disease especially in the case of prostrate cancer where progression of the disease is quite slow. There are different choices of treatment of prostrate cancer based on the level of the disease and the physical condition of the patient. Here are some of the options that doctors might consider putting into action. When it comes to prostate, the familiar adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure is particularly apt. Although there is no way to guarantee that one will never be diagnosed with the disease, there are a handful of easy changes that a person can make in their lifestyle that will significantly lower their risk.

Maintaining a healthy weight has been shown to lower the chance of developing prostate cancer, as has adopting a diet that is low in fat. However, the most effective method of preventing prostate cancer has been proven to be getting the proper nutrients that the prostate needs through diet and nutritional supplements. Prostate cancer causes are not fully able to be explained, but it appears that changes in the DNA of a prostate cell bring on the cancer. DNA is what makes up our genes, which in turn can control how individual cells behave under certain circumstances. We inherit DNA from our parents, and they from their ancestors. A very small percentage, around five to ten percent, it seems to be linked to these changes that are inherited. It has also been shown to be possibly linked to certain hormones’ high levels. Higher than average levels of the male hormone androgens has been shown to possibly play a part in the risk of contracting prostate cancer. Researchers have also noted that men who have a high level of a hormone known as IGF-1 are more likely to suffer from prostate cancer.

But other scientists have not agreed with the finding of this link. The most common symptom in the case of this cancer is the pain prevailing over the body. The pain increases immensely with increase in the size of the tumors. The bones even get weak by the tumors and may even lead to fracture, heavy sweating in night time and fever are also seen. Pancreatic tumors are caused by damage to genes, but it is not known exactly why this damage happens. Evidence suggests that it is linked to exposure to carcinogens such as; cigarettes, food high in fat and protein and food additives. Possible predisposing factors are chronic pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus and chronic alcohol abuse. There is some evidence that people who don’t eat many fresh vegetables and fruits are more at risk from pancreatic cancer.also being overweight may cause a small increase in the risk. Some industrial chemicals called chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents have been linked to pancreatic cancer, although they are unlikely to be a major factor.

Other chemicals and exposures that have been linked to an increased risk of pancreatic carcinoma in some studies include pesticides, radiation, nickel, chromium and iron. Treatment for pancreatic cancer depends on the stage and location of the cancer as well as on your age, overall health and personal preferences. The first goal of treatment is to eliminate the cancer, when possible. When that isn’t an option, the focus may be on preventing the pancreatic cancer from growing or causing more harm. This cancer is relatively resistant to medical treatment and the only potentially curative treatment is surgery. Radiation therapy for pancreatic cancer can palliate pain but does not affect the patients survival. Gemcitabine was approved by the US FDA in 1998 after a clinical trial reported improvements in quality of life in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. Management of pain and other symptoms is an important part of the treatment of advanced cancer.

The exact cause of the breast cancer is yet unknown. But according to many scientists there are many factors which are responsible for the growth and development of cancer. Some of the factors are age which is beyond our control and drinking habits which can be modified. Some of the main causes of cancer are – 1. The risk of breast cancer increases with the increase in age. It is said the woman at the age of 50 is at 8 folder higher risk than the women who are at 30. Usually 80% of the problems of cancer are developing in women at the age of 50. Nowadays the maximum death among women is due to the cause of this cancer at the age group between 40 to 45 years. Among younger women below the age group of 35 the problem of this disease is uncommon except the women who are having the family history of the disease. 2. If already any woman is suffering from this problem then the chance of having breast cancer in the other breast increases. The cancer in the other breast occurs completely from the different location it has not occurred or spread from the previous one. But the possibilities of developing new breast cancer in the other side increases by 0.5% -0.7% every year after the initial diagnosis. 3. This case of breast cancer is not very common. Only 15% of the total case of breast cancer appears to have hereditary cause of developing. About 85% of the case of the breast cancer appears due to different factors. Women whose first degree relative like sister, mother or daughter are affected by this disease then the possibility of breast cancer in that women increases by two times. Risk of this disease also increases by 4-5 times when any women’s relative suffers from breast cancer before menopause and in both the breasts. If breast cancer has affected in several generation then the possibilities of breast cancer also increases in the current generation. 4. Hormones are also one of the main causes of it. It may be the result of the longest known exposure, especially female sex hormone known as estrogen. For this reason the possibilities of breast cancer increases in the woman who have a history of late menopause, no pregnancies, late pregnancies, early first menstrual period, intake of birth control pills. There are many other causes of this cancer like use of alcohol, fat, radiant exposure, environmental pollutants, cigarette smoking, abortion etc.

The colon is also called the large intestine. The ileum (part of the small intestine) is connected to the Handbook (first part of the colon) in the right lower abdomen. The rest of the colon is divided into four parts:

• The ascending colon travels up the right side of abdomen. • The transverse colon crosses the abdomen. • The descending colon travels over the left abdomen. • The sigmoid colon is a short bend of the colon just before the rectum.

The colon removes water, salt and some nutrients are formed stool. The muscles line the colon wall, squeezing its contents along. Billions of bacteria in the colon and the content layer, living in a healthy balance with the body.

Causes

According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is a leading cause of cancer death in the United States. However, early diagnosis can lead to a complete cure.

Almost all colon cancers start in the glands of the mucosa of the colon and rectum. When most people and when doctors talk about colorectal cancer, this is usually what you mean. There is no single cause for colon cancer. Almost all colon cancers start as noncancerous (benign) polyps, which slowly develop into cancer.

They have a higher risk of colon cancer if:

Symptoms

The colon and rectum can be displayed in several ways. If you have any of these symptoms, seek medical help immediately. You may notice bleeding from the rectum or blood mixed with feces.

People commonly attribute all rectal bleeding to hemorrhoids, thus preventing early diagnosis owing to the lack of concern over “bleeding hemorrhoids.”Rectal bleeding can be hidden and chronic, and may manifest as iron deficiency anemia.

It may be associated with fatigue and pale skin. Usually but not always, can be detected through a fecal occult (hidden) blood in the stool samples were submitted to a laboratory for blood.

Treatment

First, the colon cancer symptoms vary widely. They range from a pain in the stomach to the inability to use the bathroom. However, one of the main things to keep in mind is, of course, blood in the stool. When there is blood in the stool, which is never a good sign.

There is always a good chance that the blood came from the anus, and if that’s the case, then more than likely have a cut or tear in the anus. This is something that should heal with time, just be careful when cleaning after using the bathroom. It could also have come from a hemorrhoid. Often, bleeding hemorrhoids, and there is much you can do about it unless they are removed.

Remember that hemorrhoids are not a threat to health, but can become annoying. However, if you have mixed blood in the stool, then you might have a different kind of problem. Make sure you go see your doctor and take it to him so he can take a look.
